The Resonant Mother

A 9-month somatic journey into Right Relationship with yourself and your child.

You don’t need more parenting strategies.

You need more resonance.

There is a specific kind of exhaustion that comes from trying to "manage" your family while you are disconnected from yourself.

It’s the "noise" of the modern mother: a constant internal hum of mental to-do lists, the static of overstimulation, and the sharp ring of guilt when you react instead of respond. When there is this much noise inside of you, it’s impossible to truly hear the child in front of you.

You aren’t failing. You’re just a little out of tune.

Most parenting programmes tell you what to do.

This is a journey into how to be.

What is a Resonant Mother?

A Resonant Mother is not a perfect mother. That doesn’t exist!

She is a receptive mother. She has developed the somatic capacity - the body-led skill - to hear the internal landscape of her own nervous system.

When you learn to tune your own instrument first, something miraculous happens:

  • You stop seeing "naughty" behaviour and start feeling the why behind it.

  • You move from clashing with your child to flowing with them.

  • You stop trying to control the dynamic and start simply being with it.

  • You love your children fiercely but feel like you’re constantly "white-knuckling" your way through the day.

  • You find yourself triggered by their noise or big emotions, even when you’ve promised yourself you’ll stay calm.

  • You feel "blurry" at the edges - like you’ve lost the sense of who you are in the midst of mothering everyone else.

The Move Toward Right Relationship

Over nine months - the time it takes to gestate new life - we will gestate a new way of relating.

This isn't about gentle parenting or forced patience. It is about Resonance. It is the state of being authentically connected to your own body, so you can be truly available to theirs.

It is the shift from "How do I fix this child?" to "How do I return to us?"

The noise can stop.

The resonance can begin.

The Rhythm of Integration

Over the 9 months together, we move through three seasons:

Self, Them, and Us

We follow a restorative monthly rhythm designed for a mother's nervous system.

Week 1: A Live Deep Dive into the theme.

Week 2: Somatic practices to anchor the wisdom in your body.

Week 3: Community reflection (because we are not meant to do this alone).

Week 4: Integration and Silence (the space where the real shift happens).

Here’s what we’ll explore…

Season 1: SELF

  • Month 1 - MAY: Nervous System Knowledge An introduction to the "map" of your body. We learn the language of safety, fight/flight and shutdown so you can name where you are at any given moment.

  • Month 2 - JUNE: Mother's Landscape Befriending your specific triggers. We look at the "ghosts" in your history and how they show up in your parenting today, moving from shame to curiosity.

  • Month 3 - JULY: Self-Attunement The skill of internal listening. Learning to track your sensations in real-time so you can catch a "storm" before it breaks.

Season 2: THEM

  • Month 4 - AUGUST: Child's Landscape Stripping away the expectations of who your child "should" be. We practice witnessing the unique nervous system of the child actually standing in front of you.

  • Month 5 - SEPTEMBER: Behaviour as Communication Moving past "naughty". We look at the somatic root of meltdowns and withdrawal, treating behaviour as a request for connection rather than a problem to be solved.

  • Month 6 - OCTOBER: Attuned Mothering & The Repair Responding to needs with resonance. We also dive deep into the "Art of Repair" - how to return to Right Relationship after a moment of disconnect.

Season 3: US

  • Month 7 - NOVEMBER: Boundaries Learning that "No" is a tool for connection. How to hold your own space and needs without withdrawing your love or losing your centre.

  • Month 8 - DECEMBER: Play & The Ventral State Harnessing the power of the Ventral Vagal system. We explore play not as a chore, but as the primary language of the child and the fastest way to co-regulation.

  • Month 9 - JANUARY: Freedom & Joy Integrating the journey. Moving into a place where mothering feels like a choice, grounded in the knowledge that your "Good Enough" is exactly what is needed.

All live season sessions take place on the first Thursday of the month at 8:00 - 9:15pm (GMT/BST).
